We have heard everything about seven chakras namely the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, brow and the crown chakra but least information is given regarding the Bindu chakra. Bindu means focus, point or a dot and it is approximately placed near at the point on the back of the head. This the point where the Brahimins in India grow a single tuft of hair, on the back of their heads just to give honor to this chakra. It is clearly said about this point that it can produce nectar of immortality or poison of death.

Nectar Of Immortality: Bindu chakra can create miracle type situation because our life has to be immortalized or poison of death. There is no doubt that knowledge is powerful and wisdom and experiences are immortal.

This chakra can become a center of energy which can synthesize the knowledge with the experiences. Inspiration and wisdom is attained with the success of this synthesis and misunderstanding or mispersception if it is not synthesised. Sahasrara virtually means a thousand and is just like a lotus of thousand petals which is located above the crown of the head, therefore it is also called Crown Chakra. The place of Kundalini Shakti and Shiva.

A person can achieve immortality within Sahasrara. Most of the yogis are unable to get the unconscious and conscious state of mind. This state makes us unaware with no knowledge of the entire world and there are no activities of mind. Everything at this state becomes out of reach except the self is united with the Almighty and mind is liberated.

Kundalini is Raised: Specific asanas and meditation techniques are formed in Indian yoga to raise kundalini power and awaken Crown Chakra. By the awakening of kundalini the practitioner becomes expert with the cosmic principles which are ruling the entire universe, the total bliss with meditation is attained. This chakra makes our breath move upward and gets up to the highest point. It is up to the sixth stage that activities of our mind remains within our consciousness. This is the stage where our emotion, feeling and desires are mixed into our mind. The unison with God is achieved after the seventh chakra.

Ajna or Brow Chakra | Medula Plexus

Ajna or Brow Chakra is sixth kundalini chakra, practiced for all benefits related to mind and body. The word Ajna is taken from the sanskrit language and it means infinite or union of the individual consciousness with the eternal infinite. This consciousness exits beyond our existence and it is beyond time and space as well. The real yoga is the merging of our consciousness into the finite. It is also called yoga of space and sky.

Third Eye of Mind: Ajna or Agya chakra is assumed to be located between the eyebrows. Yogis try to concentrate on this point while meditation, to open and balance brow chakra, therefore it is also called third eye. This chakra makes us to accept the idea of intuition and insight. This makes possible for us to use self-reflection of our own self. Ajna chakra provides us the benefits of physical, mental and spiritual activities. Our thoughts are turned into reality and the spirituality starts awakening. There are various elements associated with brow chakra.

Vishuddha or Throat Chakra | Carotid Plexus

Vishuddha Chakra is the fifth chakra, assumed to be situated at throat, therefore also known as Throat Chakra. Vishuddha is a sanskrit word which means to purify by separating out.

This chakra provides a life force energy which can be visible in the form of our creativity and self-expression. This chakra gives unification and balance in our lives. The Vishuddha Chakra provides us an inspired communication when it is functioning healthily. It is also overflowing channel of divine Inspiration

Throat Chakra: Vishuddhi chakra is also known as the throat chakra because it is located at the base of our throat. Anahata or Heart Chakra | Cardiac Plexus

Anahata chakra is also known as Heart Chakra or Cardiac Plexus. In sanskrit ‘anahata’ means unstuck sound. Heart chakra’s symbol is, lotus with twelve petals and the color is green, which is also known as green swirl or star of 5th dimension heart chakra.

The second chakra is Swadhisthana or sacral chakra. This chakra is the center of our sexual and creative energy. It covers all the creative aspects like emotions, art, music, story telling, business and any thing else come under its control.

Sacral chakra keeps on changing its color, though its actual color is assumed as orange. Our emotions, friendship and relationship with others is related to swadhisthana. It is called self or own abode and has got six petals and it is traditionally related to our sexual impulses and energy. The celibacy is more emphasized in swadhisthana in order to raise powerful energy to our brain to enhance consciousness.

Chakra of Creativity: Opening or activating sacral chakra is paying attention on pure knowledge and the creativity in human life. It makes us to link with the inner source of inspiration and experience the beauty around us. The perception of reality is related to its pure knowledge, which is not a mental knowledge for us to relish. It provides us the power of converting the fat cells into the brain cells which further enhances our futuristic thoughts, thinking and creativity.

Journey to the Crown of Head: The Swadhisthana chakra is linked on the chord from the Manipur or nabhi chakra and makes its movement to the void area. Our spiritual awakening is made possible only through swadhisthana chakra and the process start with the creativity up to the self-realization. Our brain gets boosted up and the creativity start functioning infinitely. Opening sacral chakra makes it possible for us to perceive the beauty in its true and aesthetic sense. Our creation in all fields are purely established in a different way.

Practicing this Chakra: We should meditate twice a day preferably at dawn and dusk and allow the kundalini to heal us from within. It must be kept in mind that we are healing our mind, body and the soul to get the eternal spirit which is promised by our scriptures and messengers of God.

Regular meditation will not only keep us bodily nourished but also spiritually alert and active. Our irregularity will be shown in our ailments namely diabetes, heart disease, irritability, difficulty in meditation. Our external cleansing rituals must be discarded in order to establish our power to get realization. All our egos are blocking our passage to reach the path where we can experience our meeting the almighty and our unison with God is kept intact.
